We are experiencing a large increase in our activity and event offer and are now seeking more extra help for our team. Here you get the opportunity to work with unique activities and magical events in our five Olympic arenas in Lillehammer.

 

We are looking for seasonal employees for various functions and tasks:

- Customer reception and instructor for tobogganing and alpine skiing in Lillehammer snow park

- Café / kiosk employees to our outlets

- Elevator operator

- Event staff for large and small events

- Bob pilots in Lilllehammer Olympic bobsleigh and toboggan run

 

It will be possible to combine several of the above functions and we are looking for you who want to work both winter and summer season.

The working hours will be suitable for you who are a student or have another job during the day, as with us you will have the opportunity to work both in the evening and on weekends. The amount of work will vary somewhat throughout the year, with the largest amount during holidays and high seasons.

All functions and tasks will be given the necessary training and courses. Relevant experience from the various work tasks is desirable, but is not a requirement.

The following characteristics are important to us:

- Versatile and ready to grab when needed

- Flexibility

- Class B driving license (Car)

Driver's license class S (Snowmobile) is highly desirable for some of the work tasks, but this is not a requirement for applying for a position as a seasonal employee.

Lillehammer Olympiapark AS owns and operates Lillehammer's facilities from the Olympics in 1994. The company is also a significant organizer with, among other things, the annual World Cup in the Nordic disciplines, Raw Air in jumping and a number of other events within sports, culture and events. In addition, the company has exciting products aimed at tourists and local users. The company has strong growth in events and tourist activities and is facing a further strategic investment in these areas. 

To lead this work, we are looking for a sales and event director who will develop this area further. We have a staff of dedicated colleagues who welcome a new leader who can contribute with innovation, competence and enthusiasm. 

Characteristics: 

- Management experience
- Knowledge and experience from large events. Preferably from national and international sports.
- Creativity.
- Good collaboration and communication skills across disciplines.
- High work capacity and implementation ability.
- Good understanding of economics.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good oral and written presentation skills in Norwegian and English. 

Tasks: 

- Lead a sales and event department with emphasis on sales, project management and implementation.
- Lead tourist and end customer sales.
- Product development.
- Personnel management.
- Ensure planning and implementation of events in close collaboration with project managers and product managers.
- Responsible for ensuring that the event is carried out in accordance with the company's quality requirements.

In the Olympic Park, there is a vacant extra help position as a pilot in Lillehammer Olympic bobsleigh and toboggan run (LOBA). This is one of Norway's toughest jobs where the key word is speed, excitement and memorable experiences for our customers.

We are looking for you with the following characteristics:

  • Good physical shape and fond of challenges
  • Driving license class B
  • Good mood and good service attitude.
  • Flexible and responsible.
  • Experience from using a checkout and booking system.
  • Initiative and solution-oriented person who can work both independently and in teams.
  • Fluent in English.

The tasks will be related to:

  • Create great customer experiences
  • The implementation of activities for tourists and groups both summer and winter
  • Management of booking and checkout system
  • Routines for opening and closing the facility
  • Daily security check of the tourist equipment

Lillehammer Olympiapark AS owns, develops and operates the Olympic facilities Håkons Hall, Lysgårdsbakkene, Kanthaugen, Birkebeineren ski and biathlon stadium and Lillehammer Olympic bob and toboggan run. The company is owned by the municipality of Lillehammer and aims to create magical moments for everyone who uses the facilities for activity and events within the sports (training and events) and commercial segments. Olympiaparken is one of Inland's most exciting jobs. High activity in the company's facilities creates significant ripple effects in the region.

Lillehammer Olympic Bob and Luge Track is the only bob track in Scandinavia. The facility is located by Hunderfossen family park 15 km north of Lillehammer. The bobsleigh and toboggan run was completed in 1992 and has since hosted major international competitions such as the Olympics in 1994 and the Youth Olympics in 2016. In addition to national and international sports events, the facility offers many activities for visitors, both summer and winter. Around the bobsleigh and toboggan run we have our own activity park, where we offer various exciting activities for groups.

We are looking for more arrangement venues!


If you're flexible, outgoing, fit fun, good at chatting, energetic, fun, funky, serious, youthful and sporty, we've got the job for you. In addition, if you appreciate Norwegian weather and lead and enjoy happiness, we would love to hear from you. As a host of us, you will have the opportunity to participate in a lot of fun! On the one day you may be in a bob leak in the ski slope and make sure our guests get a real kick, the following day you may be staging and welcoming guests to the gala dinner? We can nevertheless promise that no day is equal!

Although we usually have the most events on weekends, we often also have many hosts in the swing through the weekdays. Work as a hosting host is flexible, and you largely control how much you work.
