For the World Cup in snow sports for pair athletes, which will be held in Lillehammer and Hafjell in February 2021, the world's best in alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, biathlon and snowboarding will gather for the first time for a joint world championship. Now we are looking for volunteers who want to be part of creating history!

Lillehammer is no stranger to arranging major sporting events. The city has hosted the 1994 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, the 2016 Youth Olympics as well as several X-games, the World Para Snow Sports and the FIS World Cup.

The exercises in cross-country skiing and biathlon will be held at Lillehammer, more specifically the Birkebeineren ski stadium, while the exercises for alpine and snowboarding will take place 15 km away, in Hafjell.

A total of 82 medals will be awarded during the two-week competition. 31 medals will be awarded in alpine skiing, 18 in biathlon, 20 in cross-country skiing and 13 in snowboarding.

The biggest stars from the four sports, including Paralympic champions and world champions, will compete for gold at Lillehammer 2021. A total of around 750 participants are expected, this includes 200 Nordic skiers, 120 alpinists and 60 snowboarders.
