Winter has finally arrived in Lillehammer and we are well underway with preparing the season's ski slopes. We are going through an active period with, among other things, the World Cup in the Olympic park's facilities, and we therefore want to inform you about where and how you can use the tracks for training in the coming weeks.

We have removed large parts of last year's snow stock from the Birkebeineren ski stadium into the nearby slopes, and with a solid addition of fresh natural snow these will be cracking fine ski slopes. At the biathlon stadium, there will be a lot of rigging and preparation for the event, so we therefore ask everyone to respect the barriers around the ski stadium. We will update the matter as soon as it is possible to use the ski stadium again. But we can please you with the fact that the slopes are available for general use from lunch Thursday 24 November.

Trails
We lay out snow on the 3.3 kilometer track that will be used during the World Cup. In addition, we put snow in all the shortcuts between the various parts of the World Cup course so that there will be some flat sections as well (see map below).

Parking
As long as the ski stadium is closed to traffic, it is also not possible to travel between the parking lot and the slopes. We therefore ask everyone to use parking in Kantvegen during this short period (see map).

See you on the ski track! GOOD TRIP!
