Skiing down the bob and toboggan run!
On "clink ice" and skiing on his feet, the ski acrobat Anders Backe (32) raced down Lillehammer Olympic Bob and Toboggan run. Anders is known for his good results nationally and internationally, including a final place in the X-Games. He is regarded as one of Europe's best athletes. Just before the Olympic Park closed the course for the season, he was given the opportunity to do something he has never done before.
- You have never been skiing in such a track before and only the fact that it is "clink ice" from top to bottom, it is cramped and with no opportunity to regret in any way, makes you quite excited when standing at the top of the track.

We are getting ready for the summer!
After a wonderful winter in Lillehammer Olympic Bob and Akebane it is now time to look towards the summer. The facility is now closed to tourists and prepared for the summer season, but already in the first weekend in May you can experience speed and excitement with wheelbob. Raw Air Lillehammer became a fantastic public party and we would like to thank all our partners for the efforts that they have contributed in connection with the event. They have been good ambassadors and financial contributors, which resulted in a memorable event for Lillehammer's population. The entire 6000 spectators found their way to Lysgårdsbakkene these days, something we are very pleased with!

Visit for 28. time
Ever since construction started by Lillehammer Olympic Bob and Akebane, Construction Engineer Finn Erik Nilsen has shown his great fascination with the Olympic plant. As a teacher at OsloMet, he has taken his students every year to Lillehammer to visit the bob and ake railway and experience a building construction out of the ordinary.
Spring 2018 was Finn Erik (70) retired from OsloMet (former University College in Oslo and Akershus), but one last trip he had promised this year's litter at school. Wednesday 7. November he returned for 28. and maybe last time. Over 1000 engineering students have visited this facility together with the enthusiastic teacher over these years.
During the visit, they received a tour of the plant, including the building technology and cooling system. A trip with bobraft was of course also an important part of the tour. In addition, it was in its place to mark this visit with flowers and gift to our faithful guest!
The Olympiapark greatly appreciates every visit through these years and, despite the retirement age, hopes that we will visit again, with or without students.
Experience the World Cup as a VIP!
Lillehammer Ski Festival is the organizer of the World Cup Nordic Branches in Lillehammer from 30 November - 02 December 2018. The annual event the first weekend in December, with all three Nordic branches, is a tradition that started in 2013.

Lillehammer Indoor Cup 9.-11. November 2018
In collaboration with Bedriftsidretten, we have the pleasure of inviting you to Lillehammer Indoor Cup 2018 (formerly Steinspruten Bilglasscup)! The cup will be held as always, the second weekend in November and the main base will be Håkons Hall in Lillehammer.
This is a futsalcup with over 25's tradition and we are looking forward to the performance of the event. We hope you bring friends, colleagues, family and / or teammates / venues and sign up for this weekend!

Grants to Lillehammer Olympic bob and luge track
Lillehammer Olympiapark AS has applied to Oppland County Municipality for NOK 10 million in grants for the operation of Lillehammer Olympic Bob and Akebane for the years 2018 - 2022. The majority landed at NOK 1,2 million for the current year. In addition, the Ministry of Culture has allocated NOK 2 million following a revised state budget.
- There is still a way to go towards the goal of establishing a predictable and long-term financing platform. Today, however, we are looking forward to a little victory on the road ahead, says CEO at Olympiaparken, Frode Linnerud.
The county municipality also has an ambition to contribute financially to the Lillehammer Olympic bob and luge track in the years to come if state and municipality takes its share of the distribution key.

Winter in Lillehammer
Speed and excitement for the whole family
Tobogganing is a fun and fast-paced activity suitable for both young and old! Kanthaugen has groomed trails for sledding. An elevator takes you and the hill to the top, from there you can sow down the route on the entire 1 km. We have a lavvo on the area with opportunities to relax between the rounds. This can also be rented for groups or larger events.
This activity has drop-in opening hours. Only booking for groups of 10 people or more.
Unique adrenaline kick
Bobraft is our most popular winter activity where you drive a rubber bomb with a top speed of 100km / t, and will give an adrenaline kick with a push up against 3G. Bobraft is suitable for both young and old! It is controlled by one of our authorized pilots and accommodates 4 passengers.
Bobsleigh is our toughest activity where you get to be a passenger in a bob controlled by an authorized pilot. You will know the adrenaline at a speed of up to 120 km / h and the pressure of 5G on your body. As one of the few courses in the world used for top-level bob, we can offer an experience out of the ordinary, afterwards you will receive a diploma and membership in the 5G Club.

Free squash out February
Join the Olympic Park Sports Center before 15. January and you can play FREE squash out February 2018.
Remember! We have also removed the binding time, so now you can work out with us for as long as you want for only 289kr / month or 249kr / month for student.
Why wait for 1. January to go to the fitness center. We have indoor running track, squash and golf simulator next to our fitness facilities.

New design for Lillehammer Olympiapark
Finally, the day has come where we can showcase our new website. 1. September 2017 entered into an agreement with Tur.Digital on the design of a new website for Lillehammer Olympiapark AS. A lot of work and many hours have been done over the last few months to create a website that is easy to use for our customers.
